International Ferries to Pula

Pula is linked to Venice, Italy by passenger ferry (catamaran) but unfortunately there are only ferries in the height of the summer season--from June through August. Ferries are only a few times a week. The trip is fast (from 2 1/2 to 4 hours depending on whether it's non-stop) and reliable but it's essential to book it in advance. The ferry harbour in Pula is just steps from the historic town centre. See more on passenger ferries from Italy to Croatia.

Domestic Ferries to Pula

Pula once had a ferry connection to Mali Losinj but no longer. In fact there are no local ferries to or from Pula. To get to Pula from Croatia's southern coast you first have to go to Rijeka and then catch a bus to Pula. There's no other way. See the Jadrolinija schedule for local ferries.
