Flights to Rijeka
Rijeka's AirportRijeka's airport is actually on Krk Island, 30km from town. There is an airport bus meeting all flights and leaving from the town centre to the airport. If you're flying to Zagreb there's a bus shuttle transfer from the Zagreb Airport to Rijeka. It leaves Zagreb at 3.30pm and Rijeka at 5am. The cost is 135HRK. There are also seven daily trains from Ljubljana (3 hours). Although it is possible to take a train to Rijeka from Split, there's a long change so it's usually faster to take the bus. Ferries to RijekaThe main ferry line chugging into Rijeka's port is Jadrolinija twice a week coastal ferry that runs back and forth from Dubrovnik making stops in Korcula, Hvar and Split.
