Zagreb by Bike

With a relatively flat terrain (in the Lower Town) and the construction of a network of bike lanes, Zagreb has become increasingly pleasurable to explore by bike. The city has implemented a system of hourly bike rentals called Next Bike (www.nextbike.hr) which allows users to rent a bike for as little as 4Kn per hour once you sign up and pay the registration fee of 79Kn. A credit or debit card is essential and a smartphone is desirable.

Or, you can rent bikes for a day or a week or more at the following establishments:

bike.com.hr   (tel 095 901 0507, Andrije Kačića Miošića 9, bike.com.hr)

Blue Bike (tel 098 246 320, Trg Jelačića 15 , www.zagrebbybike.com/rent-a-bike)
Flat price of €13/day.

Feel uncertain about biking a strange city? Take a bike tour! Try a three-hour bike tour perfectly suited to first time visitors or visit Zagreb's traditional arts and crafts by bike.
