Suggestions? ferry dubrovnik to pescara

We are planning holidays in dubrovnik and would like to travel to pescara before returning to London. Is ferry the best way? We are travelling with two children. Any suggestions? Loooking at the posts on this forum it seems like Italy to croatia is more popular.

There has never been a Dubrovnik to Pescara ferry. Usually there is a Split-Hvar-Pescara ferry in the summer but the schedules haven't yet been published.
