Jeanne's online travel consultation service was very useful to me. I needed to determine the best location for a 6-day stay on the island of Brac this past August. We were scheduling this immediately after a week-long small group tour of the Dalmatian coast and were looking for a peaceful location that would also allow for some family roots research centered in the town of Milna. Jeanne's information about several towns and available accomodations helped us decide that for our purposes, the Illryian Resort in Milna would be best (see http://www.illyrian-resort.hr ) We weren't disappointed - The Illyrian Resort was an absolute gem (see our Trip Report posted 1/7/07, Dalmatian Coast, Plitvice Lakes, and Idyllic Milna on Brac Island). We also found that Jeanne's information provided through her online consultation service along with the Lonely Planet Croatia guide was extremely accurate. The hotel staff took great interest in our stay, even arranging an interpreter, time with the church priest to view historic records and transportation for our family research as well as a wonderful sailing trip to Hvar.
