Srd Hill rises 412m over the Old Town, providing a stunning backdrop to the Rector's Palace on the right, St Blaise Church on the left and the Sponza Palace straight ahead. The fortress at the top is Fort Napoleon built by (who else?) the French. Before the war there was a cable car to take visitors to the top. It was destroyed in 1991 and never rebuilt. Now there are plans to build a golf course on top.
