Zlatni Rat beach near Bol on Brac Island stretches like a finger into the Adriatic. As you can see here, this very exposed beach can catch the wind making it a favourite with windsurfers who flock here as soon as there's the faintest hint of mild weather. The beauty of this unique phenomenon is that the cape affords a wide range of swimming and sunbathing opportunities from shallow and shady to sunny and deep, depending on the time of day and the wind. Its shape changes with the wind and the tides as you'll see from the next photo.
