This Italy-Istria bus route is popular with Croatians and highly reliable. Notice that the bus stops at two locations in Venice: Mestre and Piazzale Roma. The modern buses are comfortable and air-conditioned. Each passenger is allowed two pieces of luggage and one piece of hand luggage free of charge.

Venice and Trieste to Pula, Buzet, Pazin, Medulin

There's also a daily bus that leaves from Venice at 2:15pm and arrives in Rovinj at 6:20pm. And, a daily bus that leaves Trieste at 11am and arrives in Rovinj two hours later.
