The new Bari-Split car ferry made its debut in 2023. The route is handled by Jadrolinija and only runs twice a week from May 8 to October 19. It's a convenient way to travel from southern Italy to central Croatia. The other international ferry to Split is the Split-Ancona ferry which runs all year. The other international ferry from Bari to Croatia is the Bari-Dubrovnik ferry which is also only running in the summer season. From Bari there are numerous ferries to Greece, Montenegro and Albania.
