The Zagreb Tourist Train is an easy way to see the major sights of Lower Zagreb. And it's FREE! You can hop and off as you like, taking time to explore Zagreb sights. The train is in service weekends only and departs from Trg Jelacica every hour from 10am to 7pm. Here's a map of the route:

From Trg Jelacica, you can easily walk to Dolac Market and Tkalciceva Street. From Ilica, you can take the funicular to see St Marks Church, Lotrscak Tower and other Upper Town sights. From Frankopanska, you're close to the National Theatre, and a number of museums. From Praska, you can visit the Strossmayer Gallery, one of Zagreb's most prestigious art museums.
