There's no getting around it: the cabins were quite small on our Croatia island cruise. It didn't bother us because we spent so little time in them. But cabins come in all sizes depending on the boat.
On this particular ship, the cabins on the upper deck had a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top: perfect for a couple with one child. It's also a good arrangement for couples as the upper bed can be used for extra storage. The cabins on the lower deck were simple bunk beds which gave a little more floor space.
All cabins had a small closet with hanging space and a separate space to stash the suitcases.
Cabins are equipped with a very basic toilet/shower room with a sink and hot water.
There's also an outlet for charging your mobile devices or plugging in a hair dryer and lights over the beds for reading.
Although there are no towels, bed linen and pillows are provided.
It's strongly advisable to pack light.
